Thank you for volunteering to take part in the NHS-Galleri trial. You are part of the world’s largest trial of a multi-cancer early detection blood test.

The NHS-Galleri trial is helping us to understand if using the Galleri® blood test can help the NHS to detect cancer early when used alongside existing cancer screening.

The first results from the trial have helped us understand more about how the test might help find cancers earlier. They have also helped us learn more about how cancers develop and about this type of blood test.

The first results are just the beginning. We will continue to collect and analyse data from the trial over the coming months and years, to help us learn even more.

We are very grateful to you and the more than 142,000 other participants who generously volunteered to take part in the trial. Your involvement is helping to advance cancer research and could benefit people in the future.
